Calfee Represents Client Cablecraft Motion Controls, a Torque Capital Group Portfolio Company, in Its Purchase of Tacoma, Washington-Based RG Rollins Co.

Cablecraft Motion Controls, a market leader in the design and manufacture of proprietary or customized engineered motion control products, recently completed its purchase of RG Rollin Co., a designer and manufacturer of Ball Bearing Control (push-pull) cables and control systems. Based in Tacoma, WA, Rollin has a 60-year history of delivering engineered solutions in the aerospace, defense, marine and industrial markets.

This acquisition enables Cablecraft to expand its product offerings and end markets, including a growing presence in aerospace and defense, and it marks the fifth addition to the Cablecraft platform.

Torque Capital Group is a lower-middle market private equity firm known for deploying patient capital behind North American-based manufacturing, niche/enthusiast-branded products, and supply chain service companies, with a particular expertise in transportation markets.
