Calfee Client Velocity Capital Partners (VCP) Acquires Mission-Based Drinkware Company We Are The Ripple (WATR)

Calfee client Velocity Capital Partners announced its recent acquisition of WATR Brands, LLC dba We Are The Ripple, a mission-based stainless steel drinkware company. 

Velocity Capital Partners makes strategic investments of capital and experience to support the growth and value creation of businesses led by passionate owners, operators, and contributing members of the Northeast Ohio community. WATR provides stainless steel water bottles, tumblers, and accessories to consumers, schools, and other groups, with a significant portion of product sales donated and used to build clean water access for communities in specific regions in Africa that experience daily water crisis.

Calfee’s legal team was led by Corporate and Finance Group Co-Chair Brent M. Pietrafese and included Associate Attorney Anthony J. (Tony) Cox.
