Lauren Christine Kulik

Lauren is experienced in assisting clients with acquisitions, mergers, sales, financings, corporate asset and equity transactions, divestitures, licensing, customer contracts, contractor and employee matters, intellectual property, and general corporate matters. She has specific experience representing private and public technology and life science company clients.

Lauren has experience counseling public and private companies on both the buy-side and the sell-side in a range of strategic transactions, including mergers, reverse mergers, stock and asset acquisitions, carve-out transactions and divestitures, cross-border transactions, joint ventures, strategic investments, and corporate governance. She has particular experience in guiding venture-backed companies through mergers and stock and asset sales. Lauren also has experience guiding entrepreneurs through the equity financing process and addressing the legal challenges of early-stage businesses.

Lauren joined Calfee’s Cincinnati office in 2024. Prior to joining Calfee, Lauren worked at Fenwick & West LLP in their Mergers & Acquisitions practice group. Lauren also formerly served as Corporate Counsel for The Procter & Gamble Company in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Lauren earned her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law, where she served as the Editor-in-Chief of the University of Miami Race and Social Justice Law Review. She was a member of the Hispanic National Bar Association, and she was named a Hispanic National Bar Association and Microsoft Intellectual Property Law Institute Scholar.

Lauren earned her B.B.A. in Finance and International Business, cum laude, and her B.A. in Chemistry with Biochemistry concentration, cum laude, from Florida International University.
