Calfee Vice Chair Mitch Blair Elected to Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C) Foundation Board

Calfee Vice Chair and Litigation Partner Mitch Blair was recently elected to serve on the Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C) Foundation Board. 

Mitch stated, "As a board member, I am very interested in how Tri-C responds to the needs of people who are not the typical candidates for education, especially first-timers, and people coming back to school to improve their lives after working for a while. I believe this is an important part of what is needed in our community."

Leader of Calfee's Securities Litigation practice area, Mitch is a former chair of the firm's Litigation group. He litigates and tries complex disputes and has significant experience in securities class action, shareholder derivative litigation, and SEC enforcement defense. 

Mitch currently serves on the Great Lakes Science Center Board and is chair of its Governance Committee. He is a past president of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Foundation, past president of the Great Lakes Theater Board of Trustees, and past president of the Boy Scouts of America Greater Cleveland Council. 

He is a life member of the Eighth District Judicial Conference, and a member of the 50 Club, Leadership Cleveland, Bluecoats, Inc., and the National Eagle Scout Association.
