Calfee, Halter & Griswold Elects Three New Partners

Calfee, Halter & Griswold LLP (Calfee) is pleased to announce it has elected three new partners: Kevin R. Caudill, Christopher M. Jackson and Alexander B. Reich.

Kevin R. Caudill practices with Calfee’s Corporate and Capital Markets practice group. He has significant experience in overseeing domestic and international transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions and all types of commercial agreements, reorganizations and an array of other general corporate and business matters. In addition, he represents clients in a broad range of industries, including consumer products, food and beverage, packaging, health care, energy, mining and natural resources, specialty chemicals, coatings, sealants and building materials, real estate development, construction and wealth management. Caudill has been selected to the Ohio Super Lawyers Rising Stars list since 2012. He earned his J.D. from Case Western Reserve University, and his B.S. from Grove City College. Caudill joined Calfee’s Cleveland office in 2013.

Alexander B. (Alex) Reich practices with Calfee’s Litigation Group in the areas of corporate and commercial litigation, labor and employment, insurance recovery, and appellate proceedings litigation. He focuses on counseling companies in a wide range of business disputes, and advocating on behalf of Calfee’s clients in state and federal courts across Ohio as well as in front of administrative agencies and tribunals. Reich has been selected to Ohio Super Lawyers Rising Stars list in each of the last five years. He earned his J.D. from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law and his B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis. He joined Calfee’s Cleveland office in 2010.

Christopher M. (Chris) Jackson practices with Calfee’s Intellectual Property Group in the area of patent prosecution. His practice is focused on helping clients protect their intellectual property related to chemical, biochemical and green-technology inventions. Jackson earned his J.D. from Capital University Law School and his B.S. in Chemistry and M.S. in Organic Chemistry from Wright State University. Before attending law school, he worked as a medicinal chemist for Proctor & Gamble Pharmaceuticals, developing therapies to combat drug-resistant infections and to treat cardiac arrhythmia. Jackson joined Calfee’s Columbus office in 2012.
