Brooklyn L. Hess

Brook has significant experience assisting with domestic and foreign patent prosecution, including assisting with the preparation and filing of formal patent documents at the United States Patent and Trademark Office, organizing prior art and preparing Information Disclosure Statements, communicating with foreign counsel, and assisting clients with managing and tracking the status of their intellectual property portfolios. Brook also manages the legalization of formal documents and ensures that filings meet the formal requirements set by the U.S. and foreign jurisdiction. Her experience also includes filing PCT and design patent applications.

Brook joined Calfee in 2021 as an Intellectual Property legal assistant before becoming a paralegal in 2025.
