Partner Fritz Berckmueller to Present at Securities Fraud Institute

Fritz Berckmueller, partner and head of our White Collar Defense and Investigations practice, will present at the 12th annual National Institute on Securities Fraud on January 12th in Salt Lake City, Utah. Fritz’s presentation is titled: “The Next Wave of Civil Securities Claims: Targeting Internal Investigation and Defense Costs.”

Each year, this National Institute on Securities Fraud draws officials from both the U.S. Department of Justice and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for an educational and professional forum to examine current legal and ethical issues relating to securities fraud. This year’s program will include information regarding cybersecurity and securities fraud, insider trading, and internal investigations and self-reporting.
