Calfee congratulates our client Leopardo Energy, a leader in sustainable building practices and early champion of green construction in the Midwest, on finalizing its partnership with the City of Cleveland Heights, Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland with 45,312 residents, to bring decades of cost savings through renovations and other operational upgrades.
In the fourth such project conducted in Northeast Ohio, Leopardo Energy will renovate five city facilities, replace the city's streetlights with energy-efficient LED fixtures, and implement advanced procurement strategies – with a guaranteed savings of $33.6 million to the municipality over the next two decades.
Calfee Government Relations and Legislation Partner Michael W. Bowen served as the lead attorney in the firm's engagement with Leopardo Energy in forming this partnership with Cleveland Heights.
