James Lawniczak Presented to Ohio State Bar Association

On November 28, James Lawniczak, Of Counsel in Calfee’s Business Restructuring and Insolvency group, spoke to the Ohio State Bar Association on small business bankruptcy.

His presentation, “Bankruptcy Fundamentals: Small Business Bankruptcy, Chapter 7” highlights the legal issue of how failed businesses will liquidate their remaining assets and pay off their creditors. He also discussed the causes of financial distress, such as poor business performance and how it can lead to Chapter 7 Bankruptcy.
