Jake Blake is a Litigation Partner with Calfee's Columbus office. He focuses his practice on business, corporate and commercial litigation, primarily in the areas of construction law, business torts, insurance coverage and aviation law. An experienced commercial litigator, Jake has handled all aspects of complex litigation in state and federal courts, representing clients based in the United States and abroad. He has significant experience at both the trial court and appellate levels. Jake is recognized in Benchmark Litigation 2022 specifically in the Construction, White-Collar Crime, and Commercial Litigation areas.

David Bules, a Litigation Partner with Calfee's Cincinnati office, has more than a decade of experience defending public companies and their officers and directors in securities fraud class actions, SEC investigations, shareholder derivative cases and fiduciary duty litigation. He has counseled clients regarding securities law issues in connection with regulatory proceedings, corporate investigations, and whistleblower claims. David also has extensive experience representing companies in complex corporate and transactional disputes as well as defending clients across the entire spectrum of ERISA litigation, including breach of fiduciary duty, prohibited transaction, stock drop, employee stock ownership plan (ESOP), and 401(k) plan fee litigation. David’s appellate practice has included cases before several U.S. Courts of Appeals and one case before the U.S. Supreme Court. David is recognized in Benchmark Litigation 2022 specifically in the Securities, Commercial, and ERISA Litigation areas.

Matt Chiricosta is a Litigation and Insurance Recovery Partner with Calfee's Cleveland office. He provides insurance coverage advisory and litigation services to policyholders in connection with their insurance coverage needs and claims spanning a variety of insurance products, including commercial general liability (CGL), directors and officers liability (D&O), professional errors and omissions liability (E&O), and property insurance. Matt maintains a diverse general business litigation practice representing closely held and publicly traded business clients on a wide variety of commercial matters. He has litigated disputes involving business torts, contracts, employment, and trade secret matters in state and federal courts nationwide at all stages of litigation, including trials, post-trial proceedings, and appeals. Matt is recognized in Benchmark Litigation 2022 specifically for Insurance Law.
