As Calfee’s Chief Client Development Officer, Susan is responsible for supporting the firm’s growth. The Client Development Team supports attorneys in all practice and industry groups as well as the firm's subsidiaries in their efforts to develop business at local, national and global levels.

Susan has prior experience in the legal industry where she was the Director of Marketing, Business Development, and Client Services for a mid-sized law firm in Cincinnati, Ohio.

She has also served as Director of Marketing for Charles Schwab in Richfield, Ohio, where she managed all marketing and business development initiatives for Schwab Retirement Plan Services. She was responsible for the strategy and implementation of integrated marketing initiatives including advertising campaigns, public relations, collateral development, client events, website content review, plan sponsor and plan participant communications (standard and customized) and new business analysis. Additionally, she managed the RFP response team and aided in the development of all business development materials in support of a new retirement plan service line to small companies as well as serving custom retirement plan communication needs of Fortune 100 clients.

Outside of the office, Susan dedicates her time to Women Helping Women of Southwest Ohio where she serves as Board President. She previously has served as a volunteer educator at Shroder High School (Cincinnati) with Junior Achievement.
