She was a law clerk for The Gertsburg Law Firm in 2013, researching and drafting memoranda on various corporate law issues. She also served as a judicial extern for Judge Donald C. Nugent in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio. Kelly holds a Lexis-Nexis Professional Research Certification.
Kelly earned her J.D. from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law at Cleveland State University, graduating summa cum laude, and earning a number of scholastic awards. She also holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Dayton.
She is a member of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association and the American Bar Association. Kelly is part of the CMBA’s 3Rs mentoring program and while in law school, she participated in Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Cleveland.
Kelly joined Calfee in 2014.
