With the addition of two highly experienced insurance coverage attorneys to the team, Calfee's Insurance Coverage practice group is prepared to help an increasing number of insurance policyholder clients with their most complex matters in the fourth quarter of 2024 and beyond.
Justin T. Howell joined Calfee in August as a Senior Counsel with the firm's Insurance Recovery and Insurance Coverage practice areas, drawing upon his deep experience representing policyholders to help clients navigate high-stakes insurance coverage matters. With eight years of experience at Covington & Burling's Washington, D.C. office, Justin has represented clients facing complex insurance recovery issues at all stages of the claim process and has substantial bench and jury trial experience in state and federal courts with amounts at stake in excess of $1 billion. Justin is a graduate of Duke University School of Law, magna cum laude,
Order of the Coif. He earned his Master of Sciences in International Politics from Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland, and his B.A. in International Studies and English, summa cum laude, from Boston College.
Tae Andrews joined the firm in September as a Senior Counsel with Calfee's Insurance Coverage team, advising corporate insurance policyholders in multiple industries and litigating complex insurance disputes in state and federal courts. Tae's practice focuses on advising clients on insurance coverage issues arising under commercial general liability, directors and officers, professional liability/errors and omissions, excess, umbrella, and other types of policies. With 10 years of legal experience as an insurance coverage and litigation attorney, he most recently served as Counsel with Pasich LLP, a premier insurance recovery boutique law firm in New
York City. Tae earned his J.D. from the University of Michigan School of Law and his B.A. in American Studies from the University of Notre Dame.
