While 2021 was challenging in a number of ways, Calfee attorneys had the honor of helping many clients meet or exceed their business growth goals through, for example, acquisitions and sales, efficient dispute resolutions, strategic management and monetization of intellectual property, and the successful deployment of government relations and legislation initiatives, to name of a few of the ways Calfee supports our clients.
During one of our busiest years in recent history, the Calfee team met 2021's challenges and opportunities head-on and demonstrated tremendous dedication to our clients and to each other. We are starting 2022 with a renewed focus on helping clients meet their business goals by delivering personalized legal counsel in a strategic and efficient manner.
An important aspect to ensuring that our clients receive best-in-class client service and legal counsel as we transition to a new year is our commitment to maintaining optimal firm leadership structures that benefit from both experienced as well as new and diverse perspectives.
