Annual Firm Update 2020

Firm and Practice Group Leadership 

We are pleased to announce the following firm and practice leadership additions, which will be effective January 1, 2020:

• Arthur C. Hall III, Partner-in-Charge of the Cleveland office practicing in the firm's Corporate and Capital Markets group, will support Calfee in an additional role as Firm Administrative Partner.
• Todd Tucker, a Partner with the firm's Intellectual Property practice group, has been elected to serve on Calfee’s Management Committee. 
• Thomas M. Welsh, Partner and Co-Chair of Calfee's Corporate and Capital Markets practice group, has been elected to serve on the firm's Management Committee.
• Mark W. McDougall, Billy C. Raulerson and Georgia E. Yanchar will join Ned Pejic as Vice Chairs of Calfee's expanding Intellectual Property practice group in collaboration with John S. Cipolla, Chair.
• Karla M. Rogers will serve as Vice Chair of Calfee's Real Estate practice group with practice Chair Mara E. Cushwa.
• Todd F. Palmer will serve as Vice Chair of the firm's Labor and Employment practice group with practice Chair John R. Cernelich. 
• Joshua R. Sanders will serve as Vice Chair of Calfee’s Government Relations and Legislation practice group with Government Relations Chair, Leah Pappas Porner. 

Newly Elected Partners 

Calfee congratulates our two newly elected partners (effective date January 1, 2020): 

• Lindsey E. Sacher joined the Litigation practice group in Calfee’s Cleveland office in 2011 after earning her J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law. Her practice focuses on tort claims involving personal injury, property damage, and other tort causes of action, as well as insurance recovery, antitrust, and business and contract disputes. 

• Jaclyn M. Vary joined Calfee’s Cleveland office in 2016 after earning her J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 2012. A member of the firm's Estate and Succession Planning and Administration practice group, Jackie counsels individuals, families and businesses primarily in the areas of estate planning and administration, corporate law, nonprofit law, trust administration and related legal matters.

In addition to significantly adding to the firm's talent pool this past year, Calfee also opened two new offices in Indianapolis and New York.
