Calfee is committed to a culture of inclusion and fairness. We recognize and value the differences among all of our attorneys and staff, and as part of our mission, we integrate these differences into our practice to help us enhance the quality of legal services we provide and also to help us create a positive, harmonious and productive workplace.
Our diversity strategy includes the recruitment, retention and promotion of lawyers and staff. In addition, we actively support community-wide diversity initiatives that allow us to contribute to the communities in which we work and live. In 2012, the Greater Cleveland Partnership recognized Calfee as a member of the Commission 50, honoring the firm for its progress in creating, enhancing and sustaining diversity and inclusion strategies. This recognition is determined based on four metrics: board diversity, senior management diversity, workforce diversity and supplier diversity.
As Calfee strives to be the most sought after law firm in Ohio for clients and legal talent alike, we are committed to having a business strategy that is enhanced by a diverse body of backgrounds, cultures and thought. Our philosophy is to treat every person with dignity and respect. Our goal is to balance the execution of our business strategy with genuine concern for the human dimensions of the people that are Calfee.
