Grace is an attorney in the firm’s Intellectual Property group where she assists clients with prosecution, maintenance and enforcement of U.S. trademarks. She provides counsel on issues of trademark infringement and conducts legal research and drafts memoranda on a variety of intellectual property infringement issues. Grace also conducts M&A due diligence review on trademarks, copyrights and domain names while assisting clients with the development of strategies for utilizing their intellectual property.
Grace graduated with a Bachelor of Law Degree from Peking University and she earned her J.D. in 2015 from the University of Akron School of Law. While attending law school, Grace served as Assistant Editor for the Akron Law Review and as President of the Asian-Latino Law Student Association. She was the recipient of the ABA-BNA Award for Excellence in the Study of Intellectual Property and also received CALI Awards for Academic Excellence in courses on the Fundamentals of Intellectual Property and Advanced Application of the Law.
Additionally, Grace held a judicial internship with the Honorable Judge Thomas M. Parker in 2015. She also participated in the United States Patent and Trademark Office’s Law School Clinic Certification Program. The program allows students to practice Intellectual Property Law before the Patent and Trademark Office.
Grace is a member of the Cleveland Intellectual Property Law Association. She is also active in the local Asian Community. She founded the Greater Cleveland Chinese Chamber of Commerce in 2016.
